Details of hamfest account,
club account, transference of funds and this year’s hamfest
expenses and profits were given.
Money amounts should appear in these final minutes as
well as January meeting minutes.
Tim
Miller cleared $331 by selling club
equipment on ebay.
This money will go into the repeater fund.
On the repeater fund, Ray
Robinson suggested trying to get a grant for that
purpose. The
dollar amount is small enough that it may not be a problem
obtaining the grant money.
Ray will check into this.
Moody
sent a letter to the club requesting installation of a second
satellite dish located next to the other dish.
A committee consisting of Mike Wright, Hal Mandery,
and Ray Robinson was appointed to negotiate with them on the
construction and money matters.

Repeater
Problems:
The question of whether the repeater was struck by
lightening was raised. Also
the phone line is out and the same question was posed on that.
The repeater can still be turned in on insurance.
We have $500 deductible and a determination must be
made about the lightening strike possibility.
Keith motioned and it was carried that Tim Miller have
Mike Poe check out the lightening possibility.

Christmas dinner being held on December 8th at $5
per plate and starting at
6:45 P.M.

the Christmas Parade on December 3.

Annual Awards Dinner: Our Annual Awards
Dinner will be held at Spring Mill Inn on February 4.
The private room will open at
5 PM
and the dining will begin at
6 PM
. Price is $5 per
person. Those under ten are free.

drafted a letter for the Jackson County Bank identifying the
radio club officers. Larry
took letter to the bank to start process for making signature
cards for the new officers.

Fox Hunt Results:
Four hunters showed to track down Mike, KF9NP the fox who
was hidden in a remote area of the southeastern part of the
county. Every one
found the fox and the placing was as follows:
1st Ben Hoffman, KB1AHR, 2nd Ray
Stevens, KB9LGS, 3rd
Keith Harris
, N9KH and 4th Larry Hammersley, WA9FFZ.
Announcement will be forthcoming about the next fox
hunt on Dec. 17th.

Fox Hunt Results:
Three hunters showed to track down Ben, KB1AHR, the
fox. He was
hidden on the Lawrence/Martin County line just off Highway
450. Mike, KF9NP,
claimed the victory with just over 16 miles logged.
Ray, KB9LGS, was second.
Larry, WA9FFZ, was unable to find the fox.
Mike claimed the fox hunt award for 2005 with five
victories. Ben
claimed the highest batting average having been a fox hunter
two times for the year and winning both times.
The January hunt will be the 21st, starting
time to be announced later.
Note
from Secretary: Members
of the club need to think about nominations for the Elmer
Award, Member of the Year Award, and Vance Lockenour
Award for the year 2005.
A mailing will be made to all members soon with the
criteria for these awards and a form for each of you to submit
a name for each award via email for those who have computers
or by mail for those without computers.
