Hoosier Hills Ham Club Information

Founded in June of 1955 with the purpose of promoting good fellowship, and better operating techniques, among amateur radio station operators. Our first club officers were Frank Carroll, Frank Chase, Jane Hartley, and Wm. Jenkins. Our callsign, W9QYQ, was Frank Carroll's call and was granted to us by the FCC after he became a "Silent Key" (SK).

The present day club meeting place is located at 1508 Rariden Hill Road, Mitchell, IN next door to the White River Bow Hunters Club.
